Music is part of the fabric of Africa, it plays so many roles and tells so many stories. At Chrysalis Secondary School we believe that music is a powerful tool for children to express themselves, develop their empathy and release their creativity.
Africa has produced some the world’s most influential musicians and styles of music. We aim to offer our pupils the creative opportunity to express themselves through music so their songs and music tell their stories , inspire community participation, and lead to entrepreneurship both locally and globally using digital technologies. We aim to work with world leading music organisation such as RSL Awards to give our pupils widely recognised qualifications which have supported successful musicians around the world.
